Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work on a 36-bed Renal Telemetry Med Surg unit located on the 4th floor, South Tower
• Patient ratio of 6:1
• Day and night shifts available with RNs and LPNs on staff
• May float to other Medical-Surgical units based on staffing and patient care needs
• Scrub color requirement: Royal blue for nurses
• Utilize equipment including telemetry monitoring, IV infusion pumps, bladder scanners, EKGs, enteral feeding pumps, BiPAPs, and Vapotherms
• Document using Meditech EMR system
• Perform telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation
• Provide care for patients with acute and chronic kidney disease
• Coordinate dialysis and perform post-dialysis assessments
• Administer IV therapy, medications, and blood products
• Perform wound care management, central line care and maintenance, and enteral feeding management
• Must hold a current RN license
• BLS certification required
• Medical-Surgical nursing experience required
• Ability to care for telemetry patients and manage patients with multiple chronic conditions required
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills required
• Telemetry experience preferred
• Renal or dialysis patient care experience preferred
• ACLS certification preferred
• Meditech experience preferred
• Must reside 50+ miles from facility
