PCU Registered Nurse Job in Stevens Point, WI

Aspirus Stevens Point is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Progressive Care Unit. This is a 9-week travel contract with 3x12-hour night shifts, offering $2,640 weekly pay and 36 guaranteed hours per week.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in a 12-bed ICU unit and 23-bed Med-Surg unit with telemetry monitoring
• Manage a 4:1 patient ratio in a fast-paced intermediate care environment
• Care for patients including those with sepsis, trauma, alcohol detox, GI bleed, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, orthopedic trauma, spinal cord injury, stroke, and insulin drips
• Work independently, manage tasks efficiently, and adapt to changing patient needs
• Float to all inpatient units as needed, with potential placement at Wisconsin Rapids, Plover, and Divine Savior locations
• Accept every other weekend and every other holiday requirements
• May be placed on low census call with a 2-hour callback minimum

Requirements:

• Current Wisconsin or compact RN license
• Associate Degree or Certificate in Nursing
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Stepdown, Intermediate Care, or PCU
• At least one completed travel contract (no new travelers)
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or ARC)
• EPIC charting experience strongly preferred
