Med Surg RN Job in Casper, Wyoming

Wyoming Medical Center Central in Casper is seeking an RN for their Medical-Surgical unit. This is a 89-day travel assignment beginning June 29, 2026, with a 3x12 day shift schedule and weekly pay of $2,310.30.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care for medical-surgical patients
• Complete comprehensive patient assessments addressing physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, and developmental needs
• Review patient history and diagnostic results; report abnormal findings to physicians
• Formulate individualized plans of care, including discharge planning
• Implement care through direct patient care, coordination, delegation, and supervision of licensed and non-licensed personnel
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team members
• Document all nursing interventions and patient responses in medical records
• Provide patient and family education and evaluate teaching effectiveness
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and professional development

Requirements:

• RN degree
• Minimum one year of acute care hospital experience in Medical-Surgical nursing
• Acute care hospital experience within the past 12 months
• Wyoming DFS, BLS, and ACLS certification
• Bachelor's degree and professional certification preferred
