ICU - Intensive Care Unit

Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Pennsylvania or Compact nursing license required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Critical Care Float Pool experience preferred
• Experience with a Teaching Hospital and Trauma Level I Facility required
• Patient population: Adults and Geriatrics
• Patient ratio ranges from 1:1 to 3:1 in ICU; up to 4 patients when floating to Medical-Surgical or Low Level Monitoring
• Floating required to all Critical Care Units or to Medical-Surgical or Low Level Monitoring as needed
• No on-call required
• Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday requirement: Every other holiday
• Charting system: EPIC required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Must have diverse ICU experience across multiple critical care settings
• Key skills include ventilator management, arterial line management, central line care, titrating vasoactive and cardiac drips, continuous IV sedation and paralytics, blood product administration, ICP monitoring, management of multisystem organ dysfunction, BiPAP/CPAP management, shock management, and anticoagulation management
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, and Pharmacy
