ICU RN Job in Nampa, ID

You will work as a registered nurse in a 10-bed intensive care unit at St Lukes Nampa Medical Center. This is a 12-week travel assignment beginning August 24, 2026, with a weekly pay of $2,073.60.

Schedule:

• Three 12-hour night shifts per week, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekend shifts required as needed, with an attempt to schedule every other weekend
• Holiday shifts required based on unit need
• No on-call or standby requirement

Role and Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Titrate critical drips including Propofol, Levophed, Dobutamine, Vasopressin, Fentanyl, Epinephrine, and Diltiazem
• Care for patients with Heart Failure, Respiratory Failure, Sepsis, GI Bleeds, Strokes, TPA administration, post-codes, Pneumonia, and post-surgical complications
• Manage ventilated patients and respiratory therapy equipment including high flow and BiPAP
• Read cardiac monitor strips using Spacelabs monitoring system
• Chart in EPIC
• May float to Telemetry at a 1:3 ratio or full assignment, and to Meridian and Boise ICUs as needed

Support and Resources:

• 1 to 2 shifts of unit-specific orientation depending on experience
• Charge nurse on each shift does not take patients
• CNA support of 1 per shift
• Hospitalist on site 24/7
• Intensivist available via telehealth 24/7
• Respiratory therapists present in the ICU 24/7
• Administrative Supervisor and Crisis Nurse available on site 24/7

Requirements:

• Current RN licensure
• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience; first-time travelers accepted
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• BSN not required
