Telemetry RN Job in Bowling Green, Kentucky

You will work as an RN in a 36-bed telemetry unit at Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green, Kentucky. This is a travel position with a 91-day contract starting October 12, 2026.

Schedule and Pay

• 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend required
• Weekly pay: $1,813.32

Clinical Role

• Care for cardiac recovery patients in a monitored setting
• Standard patient ratio of 4:1; maximum ratio up to 6:1, occasionally 7:1
• Monitor patients via remote telemetry monitors
• Manage Alaris infusion pumps
• Document in the Meditech system

Advanced Procedures and Skills

• Perform chest tube insertions, bedside paracentesis, and thoracentesis
• Demonstrate knowledge of chest tubes and dysrhythmia training
• Follow telemetry monitoring policy and stroke policy guidelines

Unit Environment and Support

• Work with PCTs available on day and night shifts
• Unit clerks present on day shift
• Float policy applies; agency staff float first to Ortho and Med-Surg units as needed

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Telemetry experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications
• Scrubs required (camouflage not permitted)
• Strive for 75% patient satisfaction rate
