ED RN Job in Pueblo, CO

St. Mary-Corwin Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department in Pueblo, Colorado. This is a night shift position working 3x12 hours per week for 91 days, beginning November 2, 2026.

Role Overview

You will work in a fast-paced emergency setting with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4, treating 40+ patients per day. Common presentations include abdominal pain, chest pain, fever, cough, dyspnea, headache, injury, and extremity pain. You will administer cardiac, antihypertensive, antiarrhythmic, sedation, and analgesic drips, and work with respiratory therapy equipment including ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen. Lab draws are performed in collaboration with the phlebotomy team.

• Fast track area within the department

Scheduling & Requirements

Every other weekend is required, or equivalent of 6–9 weekends per 6-week schedule. Self-scheduling and block scheduling are available. Holiday requirements apply. Call or standby requirements are determined by the nurse manager. Floating within Zone 1 is possible in cases of extreme need, as determined by the nurse manager. The charge nurse takes an assignment.

Charting and Dress Code

Charting is conducted in EPIC. Scrub color is navy blue. BSN is not required.

Compensation

Weekly pay: $2,127.
