Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• 12-hour night shifts required
• Must be willing to work every other weekend or one weekend shift per week, with weekend shifts on Saturday and Sunday
• Care for 5 to 6 patients requiring inpatient hospitalization for medical or surgical issues and procedures
• Nurse to patient ratio of 5-6:1
• Minimum of 1 year acute care experience required
• EKG competency required
• Meditech charting system experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Utilize Pyxis medication station, Meditech charting, Alaris IV pumps, and remote telemetry system
• Float to all Med Surg remote telemetry units on 2nd and 3rd floors as needed
• Occasional float to PCU required if needed
• Dress code: Navy blue
• 2 to 3 shifts of orientation on the floor plus 8 hours of hospital orientation on a Monday required
• Client may call off or cancel up to one shift per two weeks
