Telemetry RN Job in Prescott Valley, AZ

Yavapai Regional Medical Center - East is seeking an RN for a 91-day travel assignment on Telemetry. You will work 3x12-hour night shifts (7:30 PM - 7:30 AM) with every other weekend requirement (Friday and Saturday). Weekly pay is $2,208, with a start date of November 16, 2026.

Role Responsibilities:

• Care for surgical patients including hip/knee replacements, bowel resections, and hysterectomies
• Support medical patients with MRSA, C-diff, COPD, and pneumonia
• Monitor telemetry patients presenting with chest pain
• Manage stable CPAP or BiPAP patients
• Read and interpret telemetry strips
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:5-6 in a 30-bed unit (three 10-bed units)
• Provide care to MST/PCU patients as needed
• May precept nursing students
• Use Cerner charting system

Requirements:

• Current RN license
• Minimum 1 year Medical-Surgical experience required; telemetry experience preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Pass dysrhythmia exam (80% passing score) within two attempts prior to contract signing
• Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips

Additional Details:

• Holiday rotation in place to distribute holidays fairly
• Float requirements to Multi Care Unit, Pediatric unit, and West Campus MedSurg Tele
• Standby rotation for low census situations
• Any scrub color allowed except camouflage
• No drip titration required
• Profile review and manager interview required
