Telemetry RN Job in Chandler, AZ

Chandler Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Telemetry role in the Emergency Department. You will care for ED hold patients awaiting placement on inpatient units, primarily medical/surgical and telemetry patients.

Position Details:

• 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
• 91-day contract, starting October 12, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,136
• Patient ratio: 1:4
• 4 weekend shifts required per 4-week schedule
• Must work 2 of 4 major holidays, rotating with permanent staff
• No on-call requirement

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Monitor and care for cardiac telemetry patients with strong clinical acuity assessment
• Independently read and interpret cardiac monitor strips (no monitor tech available)
• Titrate cardiac drips per physician orders and parameters, including Cardizem, Heparin, and Amiodarone
• Decrease cardiac drips per established physician parameters
• Assist ED staff with vitals, IV starts, and medication administration as needed
• Will not serve as primary RN for ED patient assignments
• First-to-float coverage to med/surg, telemetry, overflow units, and additional ED locations
• No ventilator management required

Requirements:

• Current RN license (required)
• Minimum 2 years recent cardiac telemetry experience (within past 6 months)
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications (AHA or APEX)
• Pass dysrhythmia exam via RELIAS within 48 hours of offer (maximum 2 attempts)
• Complete SIM LAB evaluation on day one of orientation
• 2 shifts of orientation provided at primary campus med/surg/tele unit
