CVOR Technologist Job in Portland, ME

You will work as a Surgical Tech in the 26-bed Operating Room at MMC-P Bramhall Campus in Portland, Maine. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning July 6, 2026.

Shift and Schedule

• Work 4x12 days: 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekend requirement: 1 in 4 weekends on 12-hour shifts
• One overnight call shift per month: 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM for Trauma call
• If assigned to a specialty team (Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular, Neuro, Ortho), call will follow specialty team rules

Role Details

• Maintain 1:1 patient ratio in the OR
• Support General, GU/GYN, Ortho trauma, Ortho joints, Neurosurgery, ENT, Pediatrics, Plastics, Dental, and Endovascular cases
• Work with equipment including Storz, Stryker, Olympus, and Intuitive Robot
• Use Epic EMR system

Requirements

• Allied Health Professional credential
• Minimum 2 years surgical tech experience
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• CST certification required
• Travel experience preferred

Competencies

You must be a team player, self-motivated, and able to handle high-stress situations. Flexibility, accountability, and timeliness are essential. The hospital will issue teal scrubs.

Compensation

Weekly pay: $2,803.20
