Telemetry

Opportunity:

RN - Tele Float Pool

Job Details:

• Night shift position with hours from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM or 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Every other weekend requirement
• Expected to rotate into permanent staff holiday rotation
• First to float - must be able to float to telemetry unit
• Must be able to read and interpret cardiac rhythm strips
• Prefers basic arrhythmia course certification
• Experience with BiPAP and CPAP required
• Charting system: Cerner PowerChart
• Scrub color: Blue
• Common patient diagnoses include ESRD, diabetes, COPD, and ETOH
• Acute care setting
• Charge nurse available and does not typically take patients
• Respiratory therapy and pharmacy support available 24/7
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), NIHSS
