Emergency Room RN Job in Asheville, NC

You will provide nursing care in the Emergency Department at Mission Hospital, a Level II trauma center in Asheville, NC. This is a 91-day travel assignment running from July 20, 2026, with a schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week, working 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM.

About the Role

You'll work in a high-volume, fast-paced emergency setting where you'll manage a diverse caseload. Your responsibilities include:

• Deliver emergency department nursing care in a Level II trauma center environment
• Collaborate with a comprehensive stroke center team on acute stroke cases
• Support pediatric emergency cases in coordination with Mission Children's Hospital
• Handle a wide range of emergency presentations including trauma, stroke, and pediatric emergencies
• Work alongside specialists across multiple care levels, including a Level III neonatal intensive care unit team

About You

You hold an active RN license and thrive in dynamic environments. You're comfortable triaging and treating critically ill or injured patients, adapting quickly to changing priorities, and communicating effectively with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams. You bring clinical judgment, composure, and a commitment to evidence-based emergency care.

Compensation

Weekly pay is $1,918.44.
