ICU Nurse Job in Arcata, CA

Mad River Community Hospital is seeking an RN for a night shift position in the Intensive Care Unit. This is a Rapid Response Crisis role offering stability and the opportunity to make a direct impact in critical care.

Position Details

• Specialty: ICU – Intensive Care Unit
• Shift: 3x12 nights
• Hours: 36 guaranteed per week
• Rate: $85/hour
• Duration: 91 days
• Start date: September 1, 2026

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the ICU setting
• Monitor and assess critically ill patients
• May occasionally float to cover breaks and assist in other areas as needed

Requirements

• Active California RN license
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS certification

You'll work alongside a dedicated clinical team in a community hospital environment. Your night shift schedule provides focused, consistent hours with the flexibility that travel assignments offer. Weekly pay is $1,755 based on guaranteed hours.
