ED RN Job in Alexandria, LA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, LA. This is a 91-day travel nursing position beginning August 24, 2026.

Position Details:

• Specialty: Emergency Department (ED)
• Shift: 3x12 nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Weekly Pay: $1,780
• Duration: 91 days
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius of Alexandria

Role Responsibilities:

You will provide emergency and trauma care to patients in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Your day-to-day work includes assessing patient conditions, administering medications and treatments, operating emergency medical equipment and technology, documenting patient care according to facility standards, and collaborating closely with the emergency department team. You will follow all hospital protocols and safety procedures to ensure the highest standard of care.

Required Qualifications:

• Current RN license
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification prior to start date
• All required emergency department certifications current and valid

You will work as part of a coordinated emergency care team, supporting physicians, advanced practice providers, and other clinical staff to deliver rapid, life-saving interventions. Your ability to remain calm under pressure, communicate effectively, and adapt to changing patient acuity levels is essential.
