RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients as a member of the interdisciplinary team
• Every other weekend schedule required
• No on-call responsibilities
• EMR system: EPIC
• May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• 1+ years of experience required
• First-time traveler accepted
• Heparin experience required
• Mandatory Reporter certification required
• Must be located at least 50 miles from the facility based on driver's license
• Required certifications: Active BLS (AHA preferred; ARC or US Military certificates also accepted)
• Active Iowa or compact nursing license required with Nursys verification
• Skills checklist specific to Med Surg discipline required
• 1 supervisory reference form completed within the last two years required
• Driver's license required
