Join Mission Hospital as a Registered Nurse on the D2 Progressive Care Unit. This is a 91-day travel assignment offering consistent day shifts: three 12-hour shifts per week, 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, with every other weekend required. You'll earn $2,094 weekly.

About the Role

You'll work on a 20-bed inpatient overflow unit serving medical-surgical and step-down patients with mixed acuity levels. This unit specializes in quick-turnover, short-stay patients—many with lengths of stay under 24 hours. Patient ratios run 1:5 or 1:6 depending on level of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor all telemetry patients using hardwired bedside monitors
• Provide direct patient care and clinical assessment
• Document and communicate using the Cerner EMR system
• Float to other units as needed
• Maintain a positive attitude and prioritize patient experience
• Work collaboratively as a team player

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Recent progressive care experience
• Telemetry competency
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association)

What to Expect

This assignment begins September 28, 2026. No call is required. The unit operates with a standard dress code: navy and/or white top with navy bottom, or all-white scrubs.
