RN - OR

Job Details:

• Provide perioperative care for patients in the operating room setting
• Circulate in all specialty areas including Orthopedics, ENT, GYN/OB, General, Ophthalmology, and Dental
• Perform nursing process including assessment, formulation of nursing diagnoses, planning interventions, and evaluation of interventions per patient outcomes
• Scrubbing experience is highly encouraged
• May be required to work varied and odd hours when on call
• Must be prepared to respond to emergency cases on very short notice
• Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing and/or operating room experience required
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing required
• Valid RN license from any U.S. state, Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or U.S. territory is acceptable
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA)
• PALS (AHA) required within 6 months of hire
• CNOR certification required within 1 year of hire
• TNCC required within 2 years of hire
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
