Physical Therapist Assistant Job in Fairfax, MO

Community Hospital Fairfax is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join their therapy team. You'll work full-time on day shifts (5x8 schedule) in a role that spans inpatient and outpatient services. New graduates are welcome to apply.

Position Details:

• Two openings available for mid-June or early July start dates
• 89-day assignment
• Weekly pay: $1,716.80
• Caseload includes inpatient and outpatient physical therapy services

Requirements:

• Current Physical Therapist Assistant license valid in Missouri or a Compact State
• BLS certification from American Heart Association
• Valid driver's license or government ID
• Current resume with complete work history from the last 7 years
• Skills checklist completed within one year of application
• Two professional references from the past three years

Pre-Employment Screening:

• Professional license verification within 30 days of submission
• Background check completed within 30 days of start date
• Drug screen and physical exam
• Immunizations required: MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Tdap, and TB testing

Ongoing Compliance:

• Annual competency exam
• Joint Commission modules I, II, and III required annually
