Telemetry RN Job in Chandler, AZ

Chandler Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Telemetry role in the Emergency Department. You will care for ED hold patients—primarily medical and telemetry patients—who are awaiting placement on an inpatient unit.

Position Details:

• 3 twelve-hour night shifts per week (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
• 91-day contract starting November 9, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,125.44
• Patient ratio: 1 to 4
• Self-scheduling available, subject to change
• Four weekend shifts required per 4-week schedule
• Two of four major holidays required, rotating with permanent staff
• No on-call requirement

Clinical Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years recent cardiac telemetry experience (within past 6 months)
• Strong ability to read and interpret cardiac monitor strips independently
• Competency in titrating cardiac drips including Cardizem, Heparin, and Amiodarone per physician orders and parameters
• Ability to decrease cardiac drips per physician protocol
• May assist with ED patient care including vitals, IV starts, and medication administration
• Will not be assigned as primary RN for ED patient assignments
• No ventilator management required
• First-to-float status; may float to medical/surgical, telemetry, overflow units, and additional ED locations as needed

Required Certifications and Assessments:

• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS (AHA or APEX)
• Dysrhythmia exam via RELIAS within 48 hours of offer (maximum 2 attempts)
• SIM LAB evaluation on day one of orientation (study guides provided)
• Two shifts of orientation at primary campus med/surg/tele unit
