CVOR Technologist Job in Redding, CA

Mercy Medical Center Redding is seeking a Surgical Tech to join its Cardiothoracic and Vascular Operating Room (CVOR) team. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting October 19, 2026.

Role and Responsibilities

• Perform scrub technician duties for cardiothoracic and vascular cases, including CABG, valve procedures, pacers, lead extractions, and lung cases
• Support main OR cases in orthopedic, general/vascular, neuro/spine, ENT, and trauma specialties
• Maintain 1:1 patient ratios and work with Cerner Surginet EMR system
• Receive 1-shift orientation with a preceptor

Shift and Schedule

You will work 3x12 evening shifts (10:00 AM to 10:30 PM or 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM). On-call requirements include 1–2 weeknights per week and approximately 1 weekend per month (Friday evening through 6:30 AM Monday). The facility is a Level 2 Trauma Center.

Compensation and Benefits

Weekly pay is $1,286. The facility provides scrubs. Report to the Clinical Supervisor, OR Director, and OR Manager.

Requirements

• Allied Health Professional credential
• Strong experience with total joints, general, vascular, and spine procedures
• BLS Certification required
