NICU RN Job in Denver, CO

Opportunity:

RN - NICU

Job Details:

• Seasonal travel RN position working 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Level IV NICU unit with 42 beds and patient ratios of 2:1 and 1:1
• Minimum 1 year of current Level IV NICU experience required
• Required certifications: BLS and NRP
• PICU experience and post-surgical care experience preferred
• Work with equipment including incubators, radiant warmers, continuous cardiorespiratory monitoring, High Frequency Oscillating Ventilation, Jet Ventilation, Servo ventilation, tracheostomy, high-flow nasal cannula, NIPPV, central lines, PIVs, Foley catheters, chest tubes, and Arctic Sun
• Perform procedures including intubation, central line placement, PIV insertion, therapeutic hypothermia, lab draws, sepsis screening, gastric tube placement, circumcisions, and ROP exams
• Utilize EMR systems Neonatal Notes Manager and Meditech
• High degree of professionalism, accountability, and emotional regulation in high-acuity environments required
• Opportunity to work alongside a seasoned NICU team with daily learning during rounds and high exposure to advanced procedures and complex care pathways
