Job Details:

• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 36 hours per week
• Variable days with weekends and holidays required
• No block scheduling
• Minimum 3 years of Emergency Department RN experience required
• Most recent 12 months must include experience at an academic medical center (preferred) or a Level I or Level II Trauma Center in a major metropolitan area
• Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
• Recent experience working in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center required
• Must be open to floating; flexibility is essential for this role
• No RTO permitted during the first two weeks of any new assignment
• Maximum of 10 days RTO allowed for a 13-week contract
• Unplanned Time Off (UTO) may result in contract cancellation if missed shifts are not made up to meet contract obligations
• RTO blackout dates: 11/26–11/28, 12/24–12/25, and 12/31
• Recent EPIC experience must be clearly listed in submission packet
• No employment gaps greater than 30 days without explanation
• Facility type, EMR, and bed count must be completed on work history
• Minimum of 1 professional reference dated within the last 12 months required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC
• Preferred certification: TNCC
• Florida RN License or Compact RN License required at time of submission
• Must successfully complete a specialty-specific competency exam and EKG exam including rhythm mapping and interpretation
• Minimum score of 80% required on each exam
• 100% identification of lethal rhythms is required regardless of overall EKG score
• Unit Manager interview required
