CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work 10-hour overnight shifts from 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Schedule runs Sundays through Wednesdays
• No on-call responsibilities
• Perform CT scan procedures in a fast-paced Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center
• Create diagnostic images utilizing CT modality to provide patients with a safe and positive experience
• Perform CT exams on outpatients, inpatients (both stable and those receiving intensive care), research patients, and patients requiring specialized CT scan-guided procedures
• Conduct trauma and emergency room scanning in addition to routine CT exams
• Practice and enforce radiation safety measures in accordance with New York State Department of Health code part 16
• Support teaching and continue learning as technology changes
• Must be a graduate of an approved two-year AMA Radiologic Technology School
• New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography or limited permit to practice in the State of New York required
• Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required
• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider, CPR, or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification required
