ED RN Job in Pasadena, TX

Join HCA Houston Southeast as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. This is a 13-week travel assignment at a 22-bed Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED) in Pasadena, TX, offering a direct patient care role with strong support and resources.

Role Overview

You will provide emergency care with a patient ratio of 1:4, performing typical ED procedures including IV starts, blood draws, moderate sedations, and splinting. No on-call responsibilities are required. You'll work with modern equipment including splinting tools, defibrillators, Hamilton Ventilators, Welch Allyn devices, and bedside cardiac monitoring. The facility uses Meditech Magic EMR (transitioning to Meditech Expanse).

Schedule & Compensation

This is a 3×12 day shift assignment (7 AM–7 PM) for 13 weeks, beginning November 2, 2026. Weekly pay is $2,150. Weekend shifts are required as needed or every other weekend. You may float to Fairmont FSED if needed.

Dress Code & Expectations

Royal Blue scrubs are required, along with closed-toed shoes (no crocs with holes). No false nails, Air Pods, or Meta glasses are permitted. A stethoscope is required for patient assessment. Strong teamwork skills and a patient experience focus are essential for success in this role.
