ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend required (Saturday and Sunday)
• No call requirement
• No float requirement
• Self-scheduling
• Patient ratio of 4:1 across days, nights, and weekends
• General ER experience combining both adult and pediatric patients required
• Level I and Level II Trauma experience preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Scrub color: Navy Blue
• Charting system: Epic (experience required)
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Preferred certifications: TNCC, NIHSS
• Pennsylvania license or compact license required at time of submission
• Key skills include: arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, central line care and management, continuous IV sedation, interpretation of arterial blood gases, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, IV vasopressors, phlebotomy, procedural sedation administration and monitoring, and triage
• Interdisciplinary support available including respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary
• Patients treated across all age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
