Job Details:

• Schedule includes Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday with call and late days as required
• Specialties covered include Neuro/Spine, Ortho/Trauma, and General/Robotics/Trauma
• Craniotomy and burr hole experience are required (hard stop)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in service line required
• Patient ratio of 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Travel experience preferred
• Allscripts/Altera charting system experience preferred, not required
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS; preferred certifications include ACLS, CNOR, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC
• Skills required include craniotomy, burr hole procedures, laminectomy/discectomy, spinal fusion, lumbar fusion, anterior cervical fusion, cervical fusions, kyphoplasty, total joint replacement, arthroscopy, arthrotomy, ACL reconstruction, open and closed reduction of fractures, laparoscopic assisted procedures, cholecystectomy, appendectomy, colon resection, hernia repair, mastectomy, carpal tunnel release, amputations, burns, and Da Vinci Xi Surgical System experience preferred
• Treats patients across all age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, rapid response teams, and more
• 40 orientation hours required
• One pre-approved time off allowed per contract
• Texas nursing license in hand required with submittal
