OR RN Job in Columbus, NE

Join Columbus Community Hospital as an Operating Room RN on a travel assignment. You'll work 3x12 rotating shifts for 89 weeks, beginning August 17, 2026, at $2,664 weekly pay.

Role Overview

You'll function as both circulating and scrub nurse in a 4-OR suite facility, supporting a variety of surgical specialties. Your responsibilities include circulating cases in OB/GYN (including C-sections), orthopedic, general, urology, and ENT procedures. You'll assist with room turnover and cleaning in this small department setting. Additionally, you'll serve as second RN during recovery for callback PACU cases—assisting but not independently recovering patients.

Requirements

• Minimum 3–4 years of experience as an Operating Room RN
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Proficiency in orthopedic cases, including total joint procedures
• Comfort with both scrubbing and circulating
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• CPI or MOAB certification required; on-site training available if needed
• Skills checklist completion within one year of assignment submittal
• Two professional references from within the past three years, with one from a supervisor
