Telemetry RN Job in Atlanta, GA

You will work as a Registered Nurse in a 32-bed Telemetry unit at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, serving adult and older adult patient populations. This is a 3x12 day shift position with an 88-week duration, starting September 8, 2026.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care maintaining a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Care for trauma patients and administer Heparin drips and acute medications as ordered
• Monitor patients using telemetry equipment and specialty devices including gait belts, geriatric chairs, and physical therapy equipment
• Document patient care and clinical assessments in the EPIC EMR system
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support patient recovery and mobility

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Documented medical and telemetry nursing experience
• Completion of required skills checklist
• Valid photo identification badge
• No requested time off permitted during assignment

Preferred Experience

• Background in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings
• Prior NICHE (Nurses Improving Care for Healthsystem Elders) training

Compensation and Schedule

You will earn $1,822 weekly working three 12-hour day shifts. This assignment offers stability with an 88-week contract in an established academic medical center.
