ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• 12-hour shifts available with variable scheduling
• 4 weekends shifts required per month
• Patient ratio of 1:4 for days, nights, and weekends
• Average daily census of 40 patients with approximately 100 visits per day across 26 rooms
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Emergency Room nursing required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Trauma Level II experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Must be willing to work 2 of 4 designated holiday periods annually: Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI
• Preferred certifications: NRP and TNCC
• AHA certifications required
• Care for patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Required skills include triage, IV management, blood product administration, interpretation of dysrhythmias, arterial blood gas interpretation, procedural sedation monitoring, management of multisystem organ dysfunction, and care for trauma, neurological, psychiatric, and pediatric emergency patients
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, rapid response teams, and more
• First-time travelers accepted
