Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• 3x12 day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Weekend requirement: every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week scheduling block
• Must work at least 1 holiday per 13-week contract
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2-week period
• May be required to work as charge nurse and to precept
• Float within skillset required
• 1 year of experience required
• Travel experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• EPIC charting experience required
• Required certification: BLS
• Proficient in Med/Surg care with experience using Rapid Response/Code teams
• Skilled in peripheral line care/management, nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, oxygen administration and tanks, and isolation precautions
• Provide comprehensive care for adult patients with complex medical conditions, co-occurring behavioral health needs, and substance use disorders
• Care delivered through a multidisciplinary team approach emphasizing patient safety, recovery-oriented treatment, medication management, behavioral support, and discharge planning
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, Transportation, Unit Secretary, and more
