Physical Therapist Job in Redding, CA

You'll work as a Physical Therapist at Mercy Medical Center Redding, treating patients across multiple diagnoses and acuity levels. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting August 10, 2026.

Schedule & Compensation

• Four 10-hour day shifts per week, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Every other weekend requirement, potentially every third weekend
• Work into permanent staff rotation for holidays
• Weekly pay: $2,448

Role Details

• Treat cardiac, stroke, orthopedic, ICU, neurological, and medical-surgical patients
• No floating between units
• PT aide support available (one aide Sunday–Tuesday, two aides Wednesday–Saturday)
• Team leader available when manager is not present
• Eight hours of orientation provided for all modalities
• Use Cerner electronic medical record system

Requirements

• California physical therapy license
• BLS certification and COVID vaccine required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty
• Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital experience
• Open to first-time travelers

Workplace Details

• Dress code: burgundy polo or button-down shirt (provided by vendor), dark solid pants; no scrubs
• NICU experience and pediatric certification not required
