Occupational Therapist Outpatient Job in Abilene, TX

You'll work in a hospital-based outpatient rehabilitation clinic at Hendrick Medical Center, providing occupational therapy services to pediatric and adult neuro patients. This is a full-time travel position with a 91-day duration, starting September 21, 2026.

Schedule and Expectations

• Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
• Schedule varies as needed
• Expected productivity: approximately 75% per day
• Patient load varies by day

What You'll Do

• Deliver occupational therapy in an outpatient setting
• Work with both pediatric and adult neuro patients
• Use point-of-service documentation
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including physical therapy and rapid response teams

Requirements

• Current occupational therapy license in hand at time of submittal
• Minimum 2 years of experience in occupational therapy
• Experience working with pediatric and adult neuro patients
• Travel experience preferred

Charting and Tools

Allscripts/Altera experience is preferred but not required.

Compensation
