ED RN Job in Lewisville, TX

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at Medical City Lewisville. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning October 19, 2026, with a weekly pay rate of $2,182.

Schedule and Staffing

• Three 12-hour night shifts per week, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• No on-call or floating requirements
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• Night shift begins with charge nurse and 10 nursing staff; mid-shift transition at 3:00 AM reduces to charge nurse and 5 staff

Clinical Responsibilities

• Airway and resuscitation management
• Procedural sedation
• Chest tube insertion
• Wound care and splinting

Equipment and Systems

• Belmont, Sono-site machine, Arctic Sun, Bair Hugger, and Lucas devices
• Meditech electronic medical record system

Required Qualifications

• RN license
• Critical care experience (mandatory; candidates without this background will not be considered)
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification

Preferred Qualifications

• ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) certification
• Ultrasound-guided IV insertion experience
