Telemetry RN Job in Chandler, AZ

You will work as a Registered Nurse in a Telemetry role at Chandler Regional Medical Center, caring for ED hold patients awaiting placement on medical/surgical or telemetry units. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning November 9, 2026.

Schedule & Pay

• 3 twelve-hour day shifts per week (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM)
• 4 weekend shifts required per 4-week schedule
• Must work 2 of 4 major holidays, rotating with permanent staff
• No on-call requirements
• Weekly pay: $2,125.44

Clinical Responsibilities

• Manage patient ratio of 1 to 4
• Care for ED hold patients, primarily medical/surgical and telemetry patients
• Read and interpret cardiac strips independently—no monitor technician available
• Titrate and decrease cardiac drips per physician orders and parameters (common drips: Cardizem, Heparin, Amiodarone)
• Assist ED staff with vitals, IV starts, and medication administration as needed—will not serve as primary RN for ED patient assignments
• Float to med/surg/tele/overflow units and other ED locations as needed
• No ventilator management required
• ED PCTs available on unit

Requirements & Qualifications

• Strong cardiac telemetry background; minimum 2 years recent experience within the past 6 months
• Ability to independently read, interpret, and manage cardiac drips
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (AHA or APEX)
• Pass dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of receiving offer via RELIAS (maximum 2 attempts)
• Pass PASS/FAIL SIM LAB on day one of orientation (study guides provided)

• 2-shift orientation to Med/Surg/Tele at primary campus
