ICU RN Job in Petoskey, MI

Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Provide 24/7 care for critically ill and unstable patients in the Intensive Care Unit
• Manage life-support equipment including ventilators
• Titrate complex intravenous drips and interpret vital signs
• Perform comprehensive head-to-toe patient assessments
• Administer medications and coordinate advanced care with multidisciplinary medical team
• Every other weekend schedule required
• On-call shifts possible
• Must make up any call-ins within the contract time frame
• 1+ year of ICU experience required (floating experience not considered)
• EKG experience required
• Must be willing to float to similar units
• Neuro, CVICU, and Trauma experience preferred
• Ventilator management experience preferred
• CRRT and Balloon Pump experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Michigan nursing license required with LARA and Nursys verification
• Skills checklist completed within one year of application required
• Strict attendance policy in effect - 3 absences or instances of being more than 20 minutes late results in immediate termination
