Emergency Room RN Job in Houston, TX

Join HCA Houston West as an RN in our 28-bed Emergency Department. You will work the night shift, 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts, for a 13-week travel assignment beginning November 9, 2026.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting with a 1:4 patient ratio
• Perform emergency department procedures including intubation and central line placement
• Operate ventilators and Baxter IV pumps
• Document patient information using Meditech Expanse EMR system
• Work rotating weekends with no floating to other units

Staffing Environment

Each shift includes 1 charge nurse coordinator, 5 RNs, 1 triage nurse, 1 medic, and 1 unit secretary to support the department's operations.

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license
• ACLS, BLS, and either PALS or ENPC certification
• Patient care experience and emergency response skills
• TNCC certification preferred

Compensation and Details

You will earn $2,216 per week. Scrubs must be royal blue.
