Job Details:

• 13-week contract with a guaranteed 36 hours per week
• 12-hour day/night variable shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Float to all inpatient units as needed, including potential float to Tomahawk, Howard Young, and Eagle River locations; floating may be prescheduled
• May be placed on low census call; call back minimum is 2 hours
• Required certifications: AHA BLS, WI CNA
• Minimum 1+ year of previous inpatient hospital experience required
• Epic charting experience strongly preferred
• Work within the Critical Care Unit and Medical-Surgical unit
• Required skills include: assisting with ADLs, full set vitals, POC blood glucose, Foley care and emptying, bladder scanning, removing PIVs, emptying ostomy pouches, 1:1 sitter care, operating all lift equipment, postmortem care, occupied bed changes, BH/withdrawal patient care, donning/doffing PPE, attaching telemetry leads, strict intake and output monitoring for drains, ambulation assistance with drains and walker, chest tube care, and gait belt application and usage
• Must be a hard worker, resilient, and manage change well
• Ability to work independently, complete tasks in a timely manner, and collaborate with team and ancillary staff
• Any clean and work-appropriate scrubs required
• High school diploma required; Associate Degree or Certificate preferred
