Physical Therapist Job in Margate, FL

You will provide physical therapy services at HCA Florida Northwest Hospital in Margate, FL, working a day shift schedule Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting July 6, 2026.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations and develop treatment plans
• Conduct gait training, therapeutic exercises, and therapeutic activities
• Operate equipment including walkers, crutches, braces, and wheelchairs
• Document all patient care using the Meditech electronic documentation system
• Work with a patient ratio of 8–10 patients per 8-hour shift with assignments of 10–13 patients
• Call in by 7:00 AM if unable to report to your shift

Requirements

• Current Florida state physical therapy license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to learn Meditech quickly and begin patient care promptly
• Previous travel experience preferred

What to Expect

You will work in a day-shift environment where all staff work consistent daytime hours. The facility requires gray scrubs as part of the dress code. You should be prepared to hit the ground running and adapt quickly to the Meditech system and floor workflows.

Compensation

Weekly pay is $2,044 for this 5×8 day-shift assignment.
