Physical Therapist Home Health Job in Dunedin, FL

Join BayCare HomeCare Inc. in Dunedin, Florida as a Physical Therapist providing skilled home health services. This 140-week travel position offers flexibility and meaningful patient care in a home-based setting.

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct 6–8 patient visits per day in patients' homes, with a minimum of 6 points daily (subject to manager discretion)
• Self-schedule visits and hours based on office needs
• Perform skilled assessments, gait training, home exercise programs, and patient and family education
• Work with adaptive and assistive devices including walkers, gait belts, crutches, shoulder slings, sliding boards, collars, hospital beds, and supplemental oxygen delivery equipment
• Identify environmental barriers and implement safety and injury prevention strategies
• Document in BayCare Forms, BayCare Scheduling, and Ace Timesheet systems
• Serve patient populations in cardiopulmonary, geriatrics, neurology, orthopedics, and oncology specialties
• Every third weekend required

Requirements

• Valid Florida state license or compact license
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
• Home health experience required; OASIS training preferred
• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle for home visits

What We Provide

• Weekly pay: $2,680
• 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts

Dress code is solid-color scrubs. You will work independently in patients' homes while maintaining the high clinical standards of BayCare HomeCare Inc.
