Opportunity:

Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR

Job Details:

• Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Epic charting system experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Call required: up to 12 days per month, every other weekend
• Weekend coverage included in call requirements
• Float required within facility/scope of practice and to Piedmont Macon North Hospital as needed
• 24 orientation hours required
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
• Procedures include but are not limited to: General, OB/GYN, plastic, ENT, eyes, CV/Thoracic, laparoscopic, urology, robotic, orthopedic, ortho/totals, neuro/spine, bronchoscopes, colonoscopes, EGD scopes, EBUS, EUS, enteroscopes, ERCP scopes, fiber optics, and flex sigmoidoscopes
• If one major holiday falls within the assignment period, traveler is expected to work it; if two fall within the assignment period, traveler is expected to work both; if three fall within the assignment period, traveler is expected to work two
• Major holidays include: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
• Required certifications: BLS, NBSTSA or NCCT
