Physical Therapist Assistant Outpatient Job in Towson, MD

Greater Baltimore Medical Center is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for an outpatient role in Towson, MD. This is a 91-day travel position running four 10-hour shifts per week on days, with no on-call responsibilities and no weekend requirements.

What You'll Do

• Deliver physical therapy services through patient evaluation, goal determination, and treatment plan development in accordance with Maryland Physical Therapy Practice Act standards
• Treat patients using appropriate therapeutic interventions and manage an average caseload per productivity standards
• Participate in team and interdisciplinary meetings
• Demonstrate proficiency in standardized tests to support clinical documentation
• Work with multiple patient populations in the outpatient acute care setting, including high-risk patient populations
• Navigate electronic medical records (EMR) and maintain strong written and oral communication

Requirements

• Active Maryland Physical Therapist Assistant license
• Minimum 2+ years of recent Physical Therapy Assistant experience
• Previous or recent travel healthcare experience
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Basic computer skills and EMR proficiency
• Strong customer service and prioritization abilities
• Must be willing to work the facility's established schedule with no restrictions

Compensation & Schedule

You will earn $1,806 per week. The position begins November 10, 2026, and runs for 91 days. Shifts are four 10-hour days, providing work-life balance without weekend or on-call commitments.
