Job Details:

• Rotating night shift schedule from 5:45 PM to 6:15 AM
• Schedule follows a rotating pattern of Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday, Monday, Tuesday
• First week of orientation will be Monday through Friday on day shift
• 3x12 schedule with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Patient ratio of 1:4 for both day, night, and weekend shifts
• Every 3rd weekend required; Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday depending on rotation
• No on-call required
• No floating outside of service line
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Travel experience required
• No local candidates accepted within 75-mile radius
• First-time travelers not accepted
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS
• Preferred certifications: CPI, TNCC
• Charting system: Epic (experience required)
• Scrub color: Navy
• No parking cost
• Care for patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Emergency department sees approximately 127 patient visits per day across 38 beds
• Patient diagnoses include any ER patient type with some pediatric cases and a separate area for psychiatric patients
• Interdisciplinary support available including respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, social services, interpretation services, and unit secretary
