Job Details:

• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Perform and document evaluations and patient assessments for NICU patients
• Provide diagnostic and therapeutic treatment and physician assistance
• Provide appropriate patient and family education, teaching, and support
• Identify significant changes in patient condition and take appropriate action through reporting, staffing, and documentation
• Communicate pertinent information to appropriate caregivers and document accordingly
• Perform pain assessments and take appropriate action according to standard operating procedure
• Complete all documentation including order entry, verification, electronic medical record (EMR), medication charting, patient safety/incident variance reports, and equipment repair tags
• Process patient charges and run and verify reports as needed
• Disassemble, clean, and assemble respiratory equipment and perform preventative maintenance according to standard operating procedure
• Responsible for transport of infants to and from referral health systems
• Provide high quality critical care in accordance with patient care guidelines
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), NRP (RQI Partners)
• North Dakota State Board of Respiratory Care license required
• Minnesota Board of Medical Practice license required
