ICU RN Job in Corpus Christi, TX

Join Bay Area Medical Center as an ICU RN on the night shift. This 13-week travel position runs from September 28, 2026, and offers $1,674 weekly pay for 3x12 hour shifts (7 PM–7 AM).

Role Overview

You will work in a 24-bed ICU unit with patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2. The night shift team consists of 1 Charge Nurse Coordinator and 12 RNs. You will perform and assist with critical procedures including intubation, central line placement, bronchoscopy, external ventricular drains (EVDs), ICP monitoring, Swan-Ganz catheters, Impellas, and monitoring devices. You will work with advanced equipment including ventilators, balloon pumps, and other intensive care technology.

Requirements

• Current RN license
• ICU experience required—candidates without ICU experience will not be considered
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Level 1 or 2 trauma experience preferred
• Cardiovascular surgery experience preferred

Schedule & Expectations

You will work every other weekend. If not needed on a scheduled shift, you may be placed on call limited to that shift only—no additional call expectations apply. You may float to Doctors ICU as needed.
