Opportunity:

RN - Cardiac Tele

Job Details:

• Care for adult and geriatric patients with cardiac diagnoses including Chest Pain, NSTEMI/STEMI, left/right heart cath, TEE, Cardioversions, Stress Tests, Pacemakers, AMI, Afib, CHF, Bradycardia, AICD Insertion, and SVT/Tachycardia
• Patient ratio of 5:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Float within facility and scope of practice as needed
• Minimum 2 years of experience required - first time travelers not accepted
• Travel experience required
• Maximum 7 days of pre-approved time off per contract - all RTO must be finalized at time of submission
• Holiday work expectations apply if major holidays fall within assignment period
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
• Required skills include: Cardiac Telemetry, Central line care/management, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Manage Cardiac drips, Manage Vasoactive drips, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Post Cardiac Angiogram, Post MI, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Telemetry, Isolation Precautions/PPE, and non-invasive airway management
• Interdisciplinary support available including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Phlebotomy, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, and Unit Secretary
• Georgia or Compact nursing license required
