SICU RN Job in Wichita, KS

Opportunity:

RN - OR ICU/SICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Assigned to the Surgical ICU (SICU) unit on the 2nd floor
• Patient ratios of 1:2, with 1:1 ratios for high acuity patients including post-CABG patients (estimated ratios, not guaranteed)
• Work with specialized equipment including balloon pumps, CRRT, hypothermia equipment, and ECMO
• Utilize Meditech EMR system
• Care for trauma patients, post-CABG, post-TAVR, and general post-surgical ICU patients
• Perform and assist with chest tubes, central lines, and medication drips
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital ICU experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIH
• TNCC certification preferred
• Prior experience traveling to large trauma facilities preferred
