ICU - Intensive Care Unit

Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• No on-call required
• Weekend rotation required with coverage based on unit needs, at minimum every other weekend
• Floating required to TICU, Med/Tele, and MS units as needed
• Patient ratios of 2:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• 36-bed unit with a daily census of 30 patients
• Patients include adults and geriatrics
• 3 years of ICU experience required; 4 years preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Trauma Level I experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Preferred certifications: TNCC, CCRN
• California RN License required
• Required skills include: arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, central line care/management, continuous IV sedation, CVA/acute stroke management, external ventricular drain (EVD), high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), ICP monitoring, interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs), interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, IV insulin protocols, management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, neuro intensive care, PICC line management, post neurosurgery management, procedural sedation administration/monitoring, pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring, spinal cord injury management, suctioning (ETT, NT), titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips, traumatic brain injury, valve repair/replacement, ventilator management, and ventricular assist device (LVAD/RVAD) management
