ICU RN Job in Fredericksburg, TX

Methodist Hospital Hill Country is seeking an RN for a 13-week contract position in our 10-bed ICU unit. You will work the night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week on an every-other-weekend schedule with no call responsibilities.

What You'll Do

• Deliver direct patient care with 1:4–5 patient ratios
• Manage critical care procedures including STEMI protocol, stroke protocol, conscious sedation, chest tubes, codes, and intubations
• Operate Phillips monitors, HillRom beds, Omnicell, GE EKG machines, Lifepak 20e defibrillators, Lucas devices, and Verathon bladder scanners
• Document and coordinate care using the Meditech Expanse EMR system
• Stay within your ICU unit with no floating to other departments

What We're Looking For

• Current RN license
• Minimum 3+ years recent ICU experience
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
• Strong critical thinking, flexibility, compassion, and collaborative skills
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred

What We Offer

• Weekly pay of $1,839.60
• 13-week assignment with a start date of August 31, 2026
• Navy blue scrubs required
