ED Registered Nurse Job in Granbury, TX

Join Lake Granbury Medical Center as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning August 31, 2026, offering stability and predictability for nursing professionals seeking temporary placement.

Role Overview

You will work three 12-hour day shifts per week from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM with no on-call responsibilities, no floating between units, and no 48-hour scheduling requirements. You'll care for patients in a 10-room, 19-bed/chair emergency department with a patient ratio of 4:1.

Clinical Focus

This role emphasizes experience with trauma, stroke, and chest pain cases. You will use the Medhost electronic medical record system and wear royal blue scrubs.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure
• Minimum 2 years of emergency nursing experience
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications (AHA or ARC)
• Demonstrated experience managing trauma, stroke, and chest pain presentations

Compensation and Schedule

You will earn $1,839.60 per week. The assignment runs for 91 days, providing a defined endpoint and clear career planning opportunity.

Location and Residency

Granbury, Texas offers a quieter pace outside the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area. You must reside more than 50 miles from the facility. Travel experience is preferred but not required.
